Stop in for lunch yesterday with the wife and in-laws.  Place was packed (early Sunday afternoon), but we were seated right away.  I ordered the Pork Pig Burger -- was a decent burger, hit the spot.  Father-in-law had a milkshake with his burger, he liked that shake a lot.  Everyone else enjoyed their meals also, service was good too.

Total bill for the four of us went around $44.  Very good lunch at a reasonable price.  Can't really say much more other than we'll be back in the future.

Retro style diner, tucked away on a less busy part of main street in freehold. Tons of farms around and this place doesn't look like much, so it's easy to drive past without looking a second time. Once you go inside you feel like you're in a 50's diner. Now I'm not old enough to have been around back then, but if the "back to the future" movie was any indication of what a 50's diner looks like, then this is it. Lots of posters of muscle cars  and elvis. The turkey club is what you would expect from a regular sandwich, with a Ok price of a good portion.

The diner even comes with authentic middle aged, career waitresses to really sell the feel of the place. I'll probably come back for lunch again.

We've been to JBs a couple of times when we are visiting in Jersey and don't have anything to negative to say about our experience.

This is an old-style, mom and pop diner.  The menu is simple and solid, the food is hot and fast and the service is Jersey style.  The prices aren't bad (not cheap, not expensive) -- but they do not take credit cards.  So you have been warned!

They great local activities like cruise nights and fund raisers -- and they actively support our troops, so stop by anytime -- BREAKFAST ALL DAY (like it should be ).

So being one that loves diners, I am always scouring unfamiliar territory for these NJ (the true diner state) establishments. I was recently in the area to check out the Englishtown Flea Market and decided to take a detour to Jb's after reading some of the positive Yelp reviews. Lucky for my girlfriend and I, Jb's proved to be everything we look for in a diner.

Not only is the menu huge and extensive, it is very cheap for what you get! I ordered a stuffed burger with bacon and cheddar (don't worry I've been fasting pretty much since I ate it), along with onion rings and fries. My girlfriend ordered a turkey burger also with onion rings and fries. The quality of the sandwiches were great and very filling!

The decor of Jb's is also really cool with pictures of classic cars along with Marilyn Monroe  and Elvis memorabilia lining the walls. There is also an old jukebox that plays original rock tunes from the 50s and 60s.

Our waitress regularly checked up on us to ensure that we had everything we needed. To round out our experience we ordered a black and white milkshake (remember I'm fasting). Not only was it homemade, but It most certainly satisfied our mutual cravings for something sweet.

After leaving Jb's, we both declared that this was by far one of our new favorite diners, and that we couldn't wait to come back. For a real old school diner, be sure to pay them a visit! Just remember to bring some cash because they don't take any cards

I am glad to have found this place.
The atmosphere is definitely 50's themed, with records and car stuff throughout.
A jukebox plays all the favorites of that era and I think you can even put in cash to select songs.
This place is on the smaller side but you will forget that once you see their full sized menu. Burgers, steaks, chicken of all kinds and sandwiches abound.
They even have a daily special menu for dinner and breakfast.
Seat yourself anywhere you like, more likely wherever there is space.
Grab a seat and a server will take your drink order shortly.
The place is cash only, so make sure you got that before hand, it's worth it.
Whatever you order, you are sure to get your money's worth.
Generous portions, friendly staff and a fun theme add up to good times!
Will be glad to return.

This place was phenomenal. Food was great for a diner and the prices were cheap. The decor is well done. I had the 10oz burger but the rest of my party had breakfast and salads and they were all very happy. One of the better diners in NJ. Don't be fooled because it's in a shopping center.

Very good service and all food items were done just right. Really good portion sizes so be prepared to eat if you go with something like the '56 Ford.  Service was also fast.  As for atmosphere, I think they nailed it even if it is located in a strip mall. Definitely plan on coming back with entire family. +1 for being Yankees fans!!!! -1 for being cash only.
